Click on any image to see a larger image The Memory Patch by Jan Way is a great new book of Clip Art for Paper, Cardstock, Magnetic Sheets, Wood, Fabric, Canvas, Felt, posterboard, Shrink Are Plastic and more. I really like this artist's style and designs. Jan has included LOTS of frames in this book. I would like to use her seasonal frame designs on wood and make actual frames for the wall (like the ones in the EXPOSURES Catalog) but these designs would be equally cute in your scrapbook. Available at Hobby Lobby and other stores (more names coming soon). Look for this book and check it out. DJ Inkers Scraps & Stitches
Most scrapbookers are familiar with the art of Dianne J. Hook, the creative force behind DJ Inkers. I just got the newest Cut and Copy CD-ROM called "Scraps & Stiches". It is an excellent collection of cute clip art for your scrapbook and other applications. Suggested retail is $39.95. Computer Clip Art is especially nice because you can use it for so many projects so QUICKLY! It can also be resized so that it will fit perfectly onto your scrapbooking page. I always trace my clip art onto the scrapbook pages with a permanent pigment ink pen, but these can be printed directly onto paper and pages also.(Laser is considered permanent and MOST bubble jet ink is NOT permanent and water-proof.)
The next Cut and Copy CD-ROM is due out in September 1997 and is called Twinklers. Twinklers will features "ready made memory book pages, tags, invitations, creative borders, stationary, notepads and classroom helps." It should be the perfect "first computer clip art" program for those just venturing into using computers.
