Die Cuts and DiesLittle Extras is a company that delivers just what it advertises - those wonderful "little extras" that jazz up scrapbook pages and make them more fun. I received sample die cuts, sample papers, and a sample store theme pack of die cuts. Little Extras carries small (2-3") and large (4-5") sized die cuts in over 500 shapes! Die cuts can be on bright or pastel paper at 25 cents for large, 20 cents for small, or $2 per dozen of the same shape. They can also be printed on designer paper at 35 cents for large , 25 cents for small, or $3 per dozen of the same shape. The samples I previewed were some of the cutest I've seen. A band-aid printed on teddy bear paper was just precious, as was a baby bottle full of pink stars, and an adorable purple t-shirt. Their catalog is full of equally charming choices, such as a birdhouse, tricycle, pine cone, ticket stub, and signs. Store Theme Packs include 12 or more solid or designer die cuts appropriate to a theme, including gardening, ocean, picnic, and trees. The pack I received was a set of frames, including a cute apple, a schoolhouse printed on ABC paper, and a prize ribbon. These Theme Packs are also unique in that they put the customer's store name on the label, have a UPC code, and use designer paper where appropriate. They are $1.75 each, needing to be ordered in increments of 6 per theme. I also received tiny samples of their acid-free card stock, which comes in dozens of colors and patterns. There are lots of dots, plaids, stars, leaves, etc., each one sturdy and bright, in unusual patterns I haven't seen around. They are sold in full and half-sheets, from 15 to 40 cents each. Little Extras also sells die cuts of Alphabet Sets in mixed birghts, designer paper, mixed ginghams, and mixed dots. They also have paper doll sets and doll clothes. I was very impressed and delighted with everything I received from Little Extras. I have a wish list ready for die cuts on their cool designer paper! I think you will have your own wish list when you finish checking out all the goodies. Review by Trisha Hamilton Updated March 3, 1999
